"Mid City Nutrition Program"

Services Provided at the Mid City Nutrition Soup Kitchen:

Mid City provides two meals a day:

Monday thru Friday

11:00 - Noon and 4:00 - 5:00 pm

Saturday lunch is provided from 11:00 am - Noon

Sunday dinner is provided from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

In addition to the lunch and dinner program the following services are provided:

• Substance Abuse Counselling:    Tuesday:----------> 9:00 am - Noon

• Aids Testing and Counselling:    Wednesday: --------> 11:00 am - Noon

Health Clinic:

Nurse checks blood pressure, sugar counts, hands out vouchers for prescription medication (if person has no insurance), distributes vitamins, personal care items and non-prescription medication.

Monday: 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Wednesday: 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Thursday: 11:00 am - Noon  (Nurse practitioner available as well)
